Student Research

Our students are vital to the research happening at the School of Public Health. They partake in original research, lead studies, and assist faculty on national and international projects, sometimes receiving University-based or national grants, scholarships, and fellowships to help support their work.

Student research can shape new policies and open eyes to unrecognized public health problems.

SPH hosts summer program on equitable data science

The SPH undergraduate summer program focused on equitable approaches to data, statistical modeling, machine learning, and scientific communication while encouraging participants to prioritize community-driven approaches to better understand the lives of people represented by the data.
