The HEWG Journal Club is an interactive forum for faculty, staff, students and advanced trainees interested in current health equity research. This journal club we will be joined by Dr. Sujan Babu Marahatta.

Dr. Sujan Babu Marahatta

Learn more about Dr. Sujan Babu Marahatta

Prof. Dr. Sujan Babu Marahatta is a leading public health expert in Nepal, serving as Director at the Medical Education Commission. With over 100 publications and 2,392 citations, his research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology. He has received the Professor Emeritus Khunying Tranakchit Harinasuta Award and contributes to health policy development. Dr. Marahatta co-led the Nepal Federalisation Project and has significantly impacted public health education and policy in Nepal.
