The Intersection Between Epidemiology and Pharmacoepidemiology

Pharmacoepidemiology is the study of the utilization of drugs, good and bad, by populations, and the effect of these drugs on those populations, for better or for worse. Dr. St. Peter will be discussing the evolution of pharmacoepidemiology and examples of pharmacoepidemiology research in the study of drugs used in persons with kidney disease.
