Janette Dill is the Deputy Director of the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health and the Associate Director of the Life Course Center at the UMN. Her research focuses on job quality and career mobility among the health care and public health workforce. Her research has been published in top public health and social science journals, including Health Affairs, Medical Care Research and Review, and Social Science and Medicine, and her research has been supported by the National Institute on Aging, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and other state and federal agencies. She holds a PhD in sociology and MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

A. Nichole Fusilier are an experienced public health researcher and epidemiologist with a strong background in program evaluation and policy analysis. Their expertise includes evaluating public health interventions, analyzing the impact of healthcare policies, and conducting research to support initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. Their work at the Center includes evaluating the capacity of various public health systems and understanding what shapes the public health workforce. At the foundation of all of their work, Nichole is committed to advancing the well-being of individuals and their communities, reducing health disparities through research and policy advocacy, and translating research into actionable insights to improve public health outcomes. They hold a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in Biostatistics from Florida State University.

Beth A. Resnick, DrPH, research and practice work focuses on improving state and local public health workforce recruitment, retention, and worker well-being.

Paulani Mui serves as the Associate Director of the School’s Office of Public Health Practice and Training. Paulani is a practice-driven researcher and educator whose work focuses on advancing public health workforce capacity, wellbeing, and infrastructure.
