The School of Public Health admits professionals who have at least two years of experience to the Healthcare Management Certificate (for all pathways). Admission to the certificate is decided by the school’s Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) faculty, with the counsel of an admissions committee.

Program-specific Prerequisites and Notes

(Note: these requirements and notes are in addition to the general admissions requirements above)

• Candidates must have at least two years of healthcare management or clinical experience (displayed on resume or curriculum vitae).

• Because the coursework in Healthcare Management is the same as that of the MHA Executive full degree program, some enrollees in the certificate may decide to pursue their Executive MHA after completing the first or second semester of the certificate. Students interested in that option will be required to meet the requirements for admission to the MHA Executive Track.
