This webinar is part of an annual series from the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health (CWORPH).

The Rate of Industry Transitions by Workers in Key Public Health Occupations (Janette Dill & Nichole Fusilier, University of Minnesota). This study used the longitudinal panel within the Current Population Study (IPUMS CPS) to measure the rate of transitions away from public sector employment among epidemiologists, nurses, health educators, and community health workers.

Forecasting Future Workforce Needs: Examining Turnover Rates in State Health Agencies for Personnel With and Without Public Health Degrees (JP Leider & Sezen Ozcan Onal, University of Minnesota). This study analyzed turnover rates within state health agencies, specifically focusing on staff with and without public health degrees, to provide insights into future workforce needs and inform strategies for public health recruitment and retention.
