Admissions

The Public Health Data Science MPH program admits individuals with a strong interest in advancing public health who would like specialized training in computational and statistical data science methods, including organizing, visualizing, and analyzing data. The emphasis on analytics and visualization is ideal for those who would like to further develop their skills in communicating analysis results to key stakeholders.

SPH does not require the GRE for its master’s and doctoral degree programs. Learn more about our decision regarding the GRE.

  • To be considered for admission, prospective students must have completed the equivalent of college algebra.  Prior coursework in or exposure to statistics, programming, and calculus/linear algebra may be helpful but is not required.
