Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health (CWORPH) Year 1 Findings

This webinar is the first in a series that will share the findings of two recent studies from the HRSA and CDC funded Public Health Workforce Research Center, which conducts research to address national-level issues around public health workforce composition, roles, recruitment, retention, and implementation science.
The titles of the two presentations are:
Public Health Workforce Recruitment: Review of State Civil Service Hiring Laws
Public Health Nurses in the COVID-19 Response: Roles, Skills and Training Needs

Valerie Yeager, DrPH, MPhil is a Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. She has her DrPH and MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Masters in Philosophy from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Dr. Yeager was a Lister Hill Policy Fellow in the CDC Division of Global Migration and Quarantine.

She received her PhD from the University of Washington and her MPH and MSN from Johns Hopkins University.
