The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity is committed to centering the marginalized and helping historically oppressed communities become healthier. They serve the SPH community in providing education, advocacy, planning, and support in the areas of DEI.

The Office of DEI hosts our Justice in Public Health Series, Antiracism trainings, BIPOC/AI focused events, and many additional events throughout the year.

This session will cover the history and impact of cannabis criminalization, equity components within cannabis legalization in Minnesota, and research and work aimed toward addressing the harm caused by criminalization in the state.
