About

Dana Carroll is a certified tobacco treatment specialist and a member of the Masonic Cancer Institute. She identifies as an ally to tribes and American Indian communities, striving to rebuild the trust in academia that has been justifiably lost. She does this by listening, advocating for community needs, providing her skillset and resources, and ensuring the American Indian community is an equal partner in the research process.

Dana Carroll’s research collaborations to reduce smoking-caused cancer in American Indian communities was recently highlighted as part of the White House’s ambitious plan to end cancer as we know it.
