The Student Senate is a group of public health students across the School of Public Health. The Student Senate provides a voice for students and allows you to get involved in student government, plan social activities, network with departments, work with faculty, demonstrate leadership skills, and develop creative solutions to new challenges.
To provide a voice for the student body and to improve the quality of the educational experience for its students.
Meet the Executive Board and Leadership Team
In May 2016, we came together to plan for the new 2016-2017 academic year and began focusing on bridging connections and engaging in School of Public Health students. We further promote Senate through projects, community outreach, and events that will increase engagement among the student body.
In June 2015, the Leadership team was formed, which consists of Leads in the following committees:
- Academic Improvements
- Professional Development
- Community Outreach
- Social Events
- Student Engagement
The Student Senate is actively finding new ways to promote the unification of the School of Public Health student body, uplifting their voice to make a difference and take pride in the School of Public Health.
