Populations of special concern
Areas in need of increased attention to achieve health for all people: Aging, Health Equity, Mothers, Children & Families.

Risk factors
Areas that support or potentially jeopardize health: Food & Nutrition, Environment & Exposure, Genomics.

Health challenges
Conditions that can be fatal or compromise health and well-being: Chronic Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Injuries, Mental Health & Cognition.

Special tools
Advanced and creative methods, technologies, and mechanisms to drive research forward: Management & Economics, Innovative Methods.
