Diversity Network is a School of Public Health community-building student organization that focuses on cultivating personal and professional development in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This is an inclusive space that brings together students to engage in conversation, vent, and learn from each other. Additionally, Diversity Network is involved in social programming and collaboration with the SPH Student Senate to improve the student experience.
What does being a member of Diversity Network mean?
Diversity Network is a student learning community and meetings are never the same each week! We welcome all levels of knowledge in DEI topics and leadership opportunities can be crafted based on your interests. We recognize the importance of your time as a student and it is our goal to blend personal & professional development that complements your SPH degree. Past topics included: self-care as a social justice advocate, when to engage in challenging conversations, the impact of professionalism and its link to oppression, and identity self-reflections.
