New Health Equity Minor Course for Fall 2018: Gender and Intersectional Networking Series!

Stefani Aleman | August 22, 2018

For Fall 2018, Professor Christina Ewig and Debra Fitzpatrick will be teaching PA 5690 Gender and Intersectional Networking Series (GAINS). This course will prepare students with skills to overcome barriers that perpetuate disparities in leadership across both public and private sector jobs. By exploring institutional barriers across gender and race, students will build upon individual leadership skills and learn how to enact change.

Students of all genders interested in addressing personal and institutional barriers to advancement that are rooted in gender inequalities and their intersections with race and other forms of inequality are welcome to enroll.

PA 5690 satisfies the elective requirements for the Health Equity Minor.
