Ramachandran named AIHA Fellow

ramachandran_250Division of Environmental Health Sciences Professor Gurumurthy Ramachandran has been named a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) in recognition of his contributions to the organization and the field of industrial hygiene.

The award letter from AIHA to Ramachandran stated “the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the AIHA Awards Committee, and the AIHA Board of Directors all agree that you are deserving of this high recognition.”

Only five percent of the AIHA membership can qualify for the Fellow Award. It’s given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of industrial hygiene.

Ramachandran will be honored at the AIHce General Session in San Antonio, Texas on June 4, 2014. He will also be recognized during the AIHA Fellow Special Interest Group at AIHce.
