Education
A main objective of the Families and LTC Projects is to provide education, information, tools, and resources to families, persons with memory loss, and professionals to improve care for people living with dementia.
If you are caring for someone living with dementia and are looking for resources, we encourage you to do the following:
- Visit the “For Caregivers” page of the BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving, which offers a number of resources from leading national organizations that support people living with dementia and their caregivers; and
- Visit the Caring for People with Memory Loss Conference Virtual Library, which is organized by topic and date and offers recorded presentations, information, tools, and resources for those caring for someone living with dementia.
- Visit the National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (NADRC) Webinar Compendium to explore a collection of NADRC-hosted webinars on dementia-related topics, designed as a reference for anyone seeking to learn more about dementia through these informative presentations.
If you or your organization are interested in having Dr. Gaugler or his team provide an educational presentation on a variety of topics related to dementia and dementia care, please contact Ashley Millenbah, MPH, at email: mill8913@umn.edu, phone: 612-424-1894.
