Education

A main objective of the Families and LTC Projects is to provide education, information, tools, and resources to families, persons with memory loss, and professionals to improve care for people living with dementia.

If you are caring for someone living with dementia and are looking for resources, we encourage you to do the following:

  • Visit the “I Am A Caregiver” page of the BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving, which offers a number of resources from leading national organizations that support people living with dementia and their caregivers; and
  • Visit the Caring for People with Memory Loss Conference Virtual Library, which is organized by topic and and date and offers recorded presentations, information, tools, and resources for those caring for someone living with dementia.

If you or your organization are interested in having Dr. Gaugler or his team provide an educational presentation on a variety of topics related to dementia and dementia care, please contact Ashley Millenbah, MPH, at email: mill8913@umn.edu, phone: 612-424-1894.
