Join us for this special event where we will celebrate the progress we have made as a school over the past two years and reinforce our commitment towards antiracism. All faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members are encouraged to attend.

SPH colleagues
On the agenda for this event are Pecha Kucha (Japanese word for chit-chat) talks – a fast-paced, structured session that showcases how SPH faculty, staff, students, and alumni advance antiracism and health equity. Topics can be related to your research, community engagement, experiential learning, professional interests, SPAR initiatives, or avocations, and are a great way to become more familiar with colleagues and their experiences and interests.
Come and learn something new about your amazing School of Public Health colleagues!
The presenter has exactly 5 minutes, using exactly 20 PowerPoint slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. After one presentation is finished, the next one will begin right away.
One popular example of Pecha Kucha talks is Ignite Minneapolis, whose motto captures the spirit of this event: “Enlighten us, but make it quick.” Get inspired by watching Ignite videos from across the nation.
