Preview Days and Information Sessions
Choosing the right graduate school is a big decision. Finding a program that fits your interests is the first step. To assist with the search, the SPH offers numerous events throughout the year to introduce prospective students to its programs, staff, and faculty. All of the events are free and open to the public.
Prospective students interested in pursuing a master’s degree or graduate certificate are invited to attend the following events:

Meet with a coordinator from your intended public health major who can assist with detailed application and admission questions.

Please note: Prospective PhD students are welcome at these events, but are strongly encouraged to be in direct contact with the major coordinator early in the application process.

A degree in public health prepares students to address health issues at the community level, through research, prevention and health promotion, and the development of health policy. Students come to public health from a variety of disciplines.
