Please join us for an SPH Public Health Traineeship seminar “Adaptability in Community-Engaged Research: Lessons Learned from the Field” featuring Dr. Trân Huỳnh, Associate Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, on Monday, April 8 from 3:30-4:30 pm in PWB 3-150 or over Zoom.
Every community, community-based organization, and community coalition is unique, and thus our approach to engaging with diverse members within the community and across community groups must be adapted to cultivate mutually beneficial working relationships. In this seminar, Dr. Huỳnh will share various approaches she used to collaborate with different community groups in environmental health research and mishaps along the way.
