The School of Public Health Faculty and Staff Recognition event was held May 11, 2016. The event recognized SPH faculty and staff for their excellence and innovation in teaching, mentoring, advising; their impact in the field of public health; and leadership and contributions SPH and the University.
The following Environmental Health Sciences faculty and staff were recipients of the 2016 School of Public Health Achievement and Outstanding Service Awards:
- The Mayo Professor in Public Health was presented to Bruce Alexander, PhD , Division Head and Professor.
- The Charles N. Hewitt Creative Teaching Award was presented to Peter Raynor, PhD, Associate Professor.
- Outstanding Public Health Impact Award was presented to Craig Hedberg, PhD, Professor.
- Excellence in Mentoring Award was presented to Andy Ryan, MS, Senior Research Fellow
