MHA bone marrow drive draws 69 donors

MHA Community Stewardship Initiative (CSI) members held a bone marrow drive that drew 69 new donors to Be the Match’s national bone marrow registry. The campus event was held in partnership with Kidz1stFund to benefit the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital Fanconi Anemia research center. Students report they were pleased with the opportunity to recruit donors and raise money for UMN Children’s Hospital.

CSI is an MHA student-driven organization committed to service through volunteer work at community agencies throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
