SPH students place second in Medtronic Case Competition

MHA students Sumukh Sathnur (‘16) and Maria Tkacz (‘16) were among a team of University of Minnesota students who placed second in the 6th Annual Medtronic Case Competition, September 26, at Medtronic Headquarters in Minneapolis.

Sathnur, Tkacz and teammates presented recommendations for addressing Type 2 Diabetes in Mexico. More than 100 students in 23 teams from the University of Minnesota and University of Michigan competed this year.

Other team members were Abbey Holt, Neuroscience PhD student, Chinmay Manohar, MBA student, Aditya Newalkar, MBA student, and Phillip Thomas, MD student.
