Age-Friendly Minnesota Council

The Age-Friendly Minnesota Council works to coordinate state agency initiatives related to the demographic shift. 

Gerontological Society of America

GSA is the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging. GSA’s principal mission — and that of our 5,500 members — is to promote the study of aging and disseminate information to scientists, decision makers, and the general public.

Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging

MNLCOA is a champion, thought leader, planner, and educator. Together the over 30 members work to advance positive systems change for older adults, their families, and caregivers.

Minnesota Legislative Task Force on Aging

In 2023 the Minnesota Legislature established the Legislative Task Force on Aging. The Task Force is charged with exploring state resources and infrastructures to support the demographic shift. 

Minnesota Gerontological Society

MGS is a professional membership organization composed of an eclectic group of social service professionals, housing experts, health care providers, researchers, policy analysts, program administrators, educators, retirees, consultants, university students, and others. Our common interest is aging.

Minnesota Association of Geriatrics Inspired Clinicians

The purpose of MAGIC is to promote quality care through advocacy and education for older adults and persons with complex health needs throughout Minnesota.
