Healthcare Leadership Symposium 2020

Inspiring World Class Leadership, Driving World Class Results

Friday, May 14

Join us for the 2020 Healthcare Leadership Symposium, May 14, 2021 in Minneapolis, MN. This full-day symposium explores how bold ideas, innovative systems and results-driven leadership will shape the future of health care. Join MHA alumni, faculty and leaders in health care from around the globe in a day of learning, networking and inspiration. Participants will build their networks, exchange insights and learn from industry’s proven leaders as they gain relevant skills to build stronger health systems and improve health outcomes for the communities they serve.

The Symposium will be preceded by an alumni and friends happy hour on May 13 near campus. On May 15, 2021 we plan to celebrate the generosity of our most dedicated funders at the James A. Hamilton Society dinner.  The entire community is welcome to attend the Healthcare Leadership Symposium – students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners and those interested in health care leadership.

This event has been postponed from October to May 2021. The University is monitoring the COVID-19 issue closely and our first priority continues to be the well-being of alumni and guests who are engaging with us through programs and events. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this web page and email registered participants directly if event plans change. Please contact us at mhaalum@umn.edu with questions.

The University of Minnesota MHA Program is a top-ranked program of health care administration. As one of the first of its kind in the nation and founded by James A. Hamilton, it has become a model for other health care management programs.

The MHA Alumni Association is the largest and most active of its kind in the world. Our 2,700 members engage with students by hosting events and providing mentorship and opportunities for professional development and networking to our current students. The Alumni Association’s mission is to engage alumni, promote the continued influence of the MHA Program and to create and promote valued, life-long learning opportunities for our alumni.
